Shoaib Malik scored 108 and Abdul Razzq hammered an unbeaten 64 off 56 balls as Pakistan ran up a formidable 288 for eight. India were boosted by Sachin Tendulkar’s 95 before Yuvraj Singh took charge with an imperious unbeaten 79.

The star of the night, however, was MS Dhoni, who blasted an unbeaten 72 off 46 balls to help India gallop to the target. Mahi also discovered a big fan in the then Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, who publicly asked MSD to not cut his famous flowing mane!

This was the first meeting between the arch-rivals since 26/11. Pakistan scored 302 for nine, with Shoaib Malik, who hit 128, and Mohammad Yousuf adding 206 for the fourth wicket to frustrate the Indian bowlers. India slipped to 133 for four, before their chase was revived by Rahul Dravid and Suresh Raina. However, once their 72-run stand ended, Pakistan had no problems in running way with the game.
June 19, 2010 at Rangiri Stadium, Dambulla
Opener Salman Butt hit 74 and Kamran Akmal made 51 off just 41 balls as Pakistan made 267 after choosing to bat first at a venue where batting under lights is always difficult. In reply, Gautam Gambhir hit a magnificent 83 off 97 balls and skipper MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina brought India closer, before Harbhajan Singh finished it with two huge sixes, one each off Shoaib Akhtar and Mohd Aamer in the final over.
